Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service and support to our client accounts, including patients, healthcare providers, and internal staff.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field is required.
  • Experience working in a medical or laboratory setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong data entry and clerical skills such as filing, scanning, and organizing records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Must be self-motivated and goal oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and electronic interactions.
  • Accurately and efficiently manage data entry tasks in the laboratory information system.
  • Conducting thorough reviews of data entries to identify any missing or incomplete information.
  • Communicating with relevant personnel, such as laboratory technicians, field staff and account contacts to gather the missing data.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding laboratory services, test results, and procedures.
  • Address customer questions and ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Coordinate with laboratory technicians and other staff to facilitate efficient service delivery.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of laboratory reports to clients.
  • Analyzing trends in data completeness and identifying recurring issues.
  • Stay abreast of laboratory protocols and procedures to provide accurate information to clients.
  • React positively to changes and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of all patient information and comply with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
  • Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
  • Reacts positively to change and performs other duties as assigned.
